We have had confirmed reports of a number of incidents surrounding the use of the speed bank outside of Lloyds TSB on the Chester road Castle Bromwich. One affected member of the public told us how after using the speed bank last week.

SOLIHULL Conservative councillor denied sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl when he appeared in court on the 2nd June 2009. Councillor Ian Hillas, represents the Castle Bromwich ward, appeared before Warley Magistrates after he was arrested by police on Monday.

A phone mast has been erected by default near the Coach and Horses pub and St Mary's and St Margaret's school. The planning application was rejected in 2006 but because the Council did not inform T Mobile of its decision within the 56 days limit the mast can now be erected by default.

The decision to build on the playing fields at Lanchester way has now been made and approved. The 1000 signature objection to the plans was took into consideration and then ignored. Everyone who lives in the area is disappointed that the only public football pitch available to North Solihull has been removed and replaced with housing. Everyone in the area knows how often this field is used by local children and one visit to the field on a Saturday or Sunday illustrates how well used this recreational space is used. It should not take a committee to tell us all what's best, especially one who's members live know where near the field or the area.
